RUMSL is planning to execute 600 MW floating solar project in Omkareshwar dam in Khandwa district. The World Bank (WB) will provide technical and financial assistance for the project. WB has appointed a consultant, M/s Enzen Global Solutions Pvt Ltd for prefeasibility analysis of the project. The pre feasibility analysis involves hydrographic survey, geophysical survey, topographic survey, geotechnical investigations, environmental and social screening and study of suitable marine structures for the floating Solar PV project. WB team is carrying out the surveys and collect data. Power Grid has consented as PMC for development of Internal Evacuation Infrastructure. Khandwa ISTS substation will be used as external evacuation substation

RUMSL and NTPC are also developing 1500 MW solar park at different locations in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. RUMSL and NTPC would be developing 950 MW and 550 MW capacity respectively. The solar electricity of the project will be transmitted via national grid. Approximately 3000 ha of necessary land has been identified. 1,900 ha of revenue land allotted to New and Renewable Energy department (NRED). Baseline survey for Chhatarpur Solar Park is being conducted with the help of World Bank.

RUMSL is also developing 1400 MW solar project in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh.  The solar electricity of the project will be transmitted via state grid. Approximately 3000 ha of necessary land has been identified. Baseline survey for Morena Solar Park is being conducted with the help of World Bank.
